Crossfit Grunt Work: Embrace the Suck with Weighted Carries
They aren’t pretty, but Weighted Carries will hugely improve your midline and overhead stability, grip strength and build tenacity.
I have always been active in athletics. I played football and ran track in college. I finished my collegiate career running D1 track for the University of Central Arkansas, where I ran the 100 and 200m dashes and was on the 4x100m relay team. After being introduced to CrossFit I immediately feel in love. The competitive aspect drives me and I enjoy the community side equally. It motivates me to help others move and perform efficiently. My wife, Kimi, and I have two children, Bear and Finley. We love living in Arkansas due to all of the outdoor activities available. We enjoy hiking and camping with our dog, Wrigley.
