With people being asked to stay at home and many Boxes around the world closing their doors to stop the spread of the coronavirus, the community has come together to offer free at home CrossFit workouts to those who can’t (or won’t) train in their Boxes as usual.

Programs that are usually behind some kind of paywall, such as WODprep, The Progrm and CompTrain can now be accessed for free for those who want them.

“We wanted to give something back to the community during these hard times, especially with so many gyms being closed down,” said the team behind The Progrm.

Box owners around the world are also trying to find ways to stop members freezing or cancelling their memberships and, more importantly, keep them healthy and moving.

Many Boxes are have been programming and sending daily workouts members can do at home or renting out the gym’s equipment so people can do more than bodyweight workouts at home.

Even if most CrossFit athletes are fit and healthy and might not suffer greatly from the virus, they could still put others at risk. Please follow your local health authority’s advice and stay safe.
