Bethany Shadburne tested positive for Covid-19 and had to drop out of the 2021 CrossFit Games.
She posted recently: “This has been a tough pill to swallow…”
“Thank you everyone for your kind thoughts, prayers and words the past few days. I definitely believe I’ve being protected from something Way bigger/ worse so I have a lot of peace right now with what is going on even though it’s super heartbreaking and sad.
Hoping to feel 100% very soon.
Definitely feel like I’m past the worst of it! Good luck to all the amazing athletes competing today and the rest of this weekend.
Kari Pearce and I will be rooting for y’all in spirit.”
