After just 1 event of the 2024 CrossFit Games, because of the ongoing tragic news regarding Lazar Dukic, the remainder of the day has been cancelled.

The schedule for this Thursday was:
Thursday
- 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. – Individual Event
- 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. – Team Event
- 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. – Break
- 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. – Individual Event
- 2:15 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. – Team Event
- 4:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. – Opening Ceremonies
- 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. – Break
- 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. – Individual Event
However, only the first event took place with the first team event being cancelled after Lazar Dukic was unaccounted while swimming.
The information about the cancelled first day of events was made through speakers inside the Dickies Arena. Athletes also received the information on their e-mail.
At this moment, CrossFit is yet to release official information regarding the status of Lazar Dukic and if the remaining days of competition will go on as scheduled.
