| Apr 14, 2025 / 2 min read

Our team was on the ground in Taiwan at the weekend for HYROX Taipei 2025.

The Men’s Pro Race was won by Gabe Heck of the USA in a time of 58:12. He completed his second lap in 03:21 which was the fastest time for anyone to complete a lap in Taipei. In total his running time was 28:53, placing him sixth out of 119 men and giving him an average pace of 03:37 per kilometer.

Heck recovered back any lost time in the running by excelling in the workouts. He recorded the fastest times in the 1000m SkiErg (03:45), 50m Sled Push (01:43), 50m Sled Pull (03:56), and 1000m Row (04:14). His lowest placing was 7th in the 200m Farmers Carry.

In the end he finished more than 5 minutes ahead of the second placed athlete, Beomseok Hong, who you may recognise from Netflix’s Physical 100 Season 2, where he also finished runner up.

Lachlan Clancy from Australia rounded out the top 3, finishing in 1:04:40.

On the Women’s side, Claire Nesbitt took first place with a time of 1:07:52. In the running she finished second amongst the women with a total run time of 33:40. In the workouts she finished exceptionally strongly, posting the best times amongst all women in the last 5 workout stations!

Hayley Lee and Holly Davies completed the top 3 in Taipei.

Next up we’ll be following all the action in Miami on April 19th.
