Jannik Czapla and Tim Wenisch claimed victory in 50:24.
Despite leading for most of the race there was drama as Czapla received two red cards in the Burpee Broad Jumps for a total penalty of 30 seconds.

The indefatigable Wenisch had a tonne of pace throughout and was clearly holding back in the runs to keep his partner in touch. Rylan Schadegg and Ryan Kent were neck and neck with the Germans at the Farmer’s Carry but they lost time when the kettlebells weren’t properly returned to the pick-up spot.
Schadegg and Kent arrived at the Wall Balls 17 reps behind Wenisch and Czapla. By this stage the Spanish pair of Roberto Viciedo Gimeno and Luis Garcia Rubio were just behind the Americans and they soon moved into second place.
Wenisch and Czapla crossed the line with a clear lead but had to wait for official confirmation before they could celebrate. The Spanish duo arrived 36 seconds behind them, which was not enough to overcome the two penalties and Wenisch was champion again.
