Amazfit has confirmed updates to its HYROX athlete roster for the 2025/26 season, adding a blend of established champions and emerging competitors.
The refreshed lineup continues the brand’s approach of working closely with athletes, moving beyond traditional sponsorships to build collaborations that influence both performance and energy in the sport.
HYROX Champions and Hybrid Athletes
Leading the roster is Hunter McIntyre, one of the most recognisable names in HYROX. Before becoming a dominant force in hybrid racing, McIntyre built his reputation in obstacle course racing and even earned a wildcard entry to the CrossFit Games in 2019, where he tested himself against some of the sport’s best. That breadth of experience has made him synonymous with high-intensity competition across multiple arenas.
Rich Ryan (USA) joins as another high-profile addition. Best known for his consistency in HYROX, Ryan also has a CrossFit background, giving him a unique perspective on training and competition. His data-driven coaching style aligns with Amazfit’s focus on performance insights and wearable technology.
Rising Stars in the HYROX Arena
Alongside the veterans are athletes who represent the next generation of HYROX competitors. Joanna Wietrzyk (Australia) enters the roster after a breakout season that saw her deliver standout performances on the global stage. Emilie Dahmen (Netherlands) is also part of the new wave, following a strong showing in championship races.
At the top of the women’s field, Linda Meier (Germany), the reigning HYROX World Champion brings unmatched credibility and competitive excellence. Her involvement signals Amazfit’s intent to work with athletes at the very highest level of the sport.
Sponsorship With Athlete Involvement at the Core
The expanded roster highlights Amazfit’s strategy of embedding athletes into the development and storytelling process. The partnership will focus on:
- Product Development – Athletes will test devices and provide feedback tailored to hybrid racing.
- Content Creation – Training insights, race preparation, and behind-the-scenes stories will help bring fans closer to the action.
- Community Engagement – Athletes will represent Amazfit at events, activations, and in the growing global HYROX community.
According to Scott Shepley, Head of Global Marketing at Amazfit, the initiative is about building genuine relationships with athletes that directly inform the brand’s wearable innovations.
The Growth of HYROX
HYROX continues to establish itself as one of the fastest-growing sports in functional fitness, with global participation numbers climbing each season. For Amazfit, expanding its athlete roster is more than a marketing move – it’s an investment in the sport’s long-term growth and a way to connect with the competitive fitness community at every level.
With McIntyre’s hybrid pedigree, Ryan’s mix of HYROX and CrossFit experience, Meier’s championship status, and the fresh excitement and ambition of Dahmen and Wietrzyk, Amazfit has assembled a roster that reflects the depth and diversity of HYROX competition. For athletes, it means new tools and technology shaped by elite performers. For fans, it means more stories and insights from the people pushing the limits of hybrid racing.
