The 2025 Rogue Invitational has provided another weekend of grit, power, and world-class athleticism. As one of the most prestigious events in the Functional Fitness season, it gathers the sport’s top competitors for a test of strength, endurance, and mental toughness unlike any other.
As the morning Scottish mist cleared over Aberdeen for the final day of competition, the Men’s Division of the 2025 Rogue Invitational went as follows:
Individual Event 7 – Granite City
The action kicked off with Event 7 – Granite City.
Aussie Ricky Garard took the win. Adler, Khrennikov, Medeiros, and Sprague rounded out the top 5 with impressive performances from all these competitors.
Garard looked confident and calm throughout the race, which snaked through the vendor village and the arena. He came out hot and set a fast pace that ultimately none of the other athletes could match.
Individual Event 8 – Double Bogey
Double Bogey was a brutal combination of overhead squats and burpees.
Colten Mertens was solid and consistent, and dominated throughout the Event.
The final results looked like this:
- Colten Mertens
- Harry Lightfoot
- Austin Hatfield
- Jeff Adler
- Justin Medeiros
- Jay Crouch
- Roman Khrennikov
- Chandler Smith
- Fabian Hermans
- BKG
Individual Event 9 – Pedicab
Roman Khrennikov was unmatched on the bike and unrelenting on the sandbag carry.
Behind Khrennikov came Sprague, Garard, Hopper and Adler.
With another top 5 finish, Adler did enough to stay at the top of the leaderboard and win the 2025 Rogue Invitational. That concludes his second win of this prestigious event, and the fifth time he has competed at the Rogue Invitational.
