How Much Money Did Athletes Earn at the 2025 Rogue Invitational?

The 2025 Rogue Invitational once again raised the bar for athlete payouts, distributing an impressive $1,569,513.79 across its CrossFit, Strongman, and Strongwoman divisions. Of that total, the CrossFit competitors alone earned just over $1.08 million, with the champions taking home $232,976.37 each.

While still shy of the $288,516 awarded to the 2025 CrossFit Games winners, Rogue’s prize purse continues to stand out as one of the most dynamic in the sport — largely thanks to its innovative structure. The overall amount is influenced by several unique factors, most notably Rogue’s Bitcoin-based investment model. Before the event, the company invests $275,000 in Bitcoin, and fluctuations in the cryptocurrency’s value directly impact the total prize pool. With Bitcoin climbing from $95,000 to about $107,000 per coin during event week, athletes benefited from that surge.

Beyond Bitcoin, Rogue’s community-driven model helps grow the purse even further. Each ticket sold, event T-shirt purchased, and pair of GORUCK Ballistic Trainers bought on RogueFitness.com adds $5 to the total. Additionally, 10% of the online qualifier registration fees feeds back into the pool, making the Rogue Invitational one of the few events where fans directly contribute to the athletes’ rewards.
