Hunter McIntyre completed his first HYROX races since the World Championships in Chicago, winning both the Men’s Pro Doubles and the Mixed Team Relay in Dallas.

Teaming up with Elite 15 athlete Jake Williamson in the Men’s Pro Doubles, they finished in 48:48, just 20 seconds off the world record.

Hunter is without doubt the most-decorated male athlete in the history of HYROX and looks to be in great form as we move toward the second major of the season in Melbourne. In the Runs he and Jake averaged 03:25 with a fastest round of 03:16.

Running 1 – 03:34

Running 2 – 03:16

Running 3 – 03:21

Running 4 – 03:29

Running 5 – 03:21

Running 6 – 03:27

Running 7 – 03:26

Running 8 – 03:30

At the workouts they recorded top 10 overall finish times at 7 of the 8 stations.

1000m Ski Erg – 03:07 (1st)

50m Sled Push – 01:25 (1st)

50m Sled Pull – 02:34 (9th)

80m Burpee Broad Jump – 01:43 (6th)

1000m Row – 03:33 (4th)

Farmer’s Carry – 01:14 (5th)

100m Sandbag Lunges – 02:08 (3rd)

Wall Balls – 03:27 (21st)

In the end they had more than a minute on the second-placed pair, Stephen Pelkofer and Dylan Scott, who finished in 50:01 despite a minor mixup on the Wall Balls.

Along with Alexander Roncevic, Dylan Scott is arguably the in-form athlete on the Men’s side so far this season so it’s great to see Hunter and Jake mixing with the very best.

In the mixed team relay Hunter and Jake teamed up with Anna Foley and Taylor Nyquist to finish in 54:00, beating the second-placed team by almost 2 minutes.
