CrossFit Open 24.1 workout is in the past, scores can no longer be uploaded and thus we know who the winners are of the first event of the season: 4x CrossFit Games athlete Colten Mertens and 22-year-old Mirjam Von Rohr have stood on top of the leaderboard.
One thing to note, that goes in hand with the results not being official as of yet, is that at the time of writing, in the men’s leaderboard, Mitchell Anderson was on top of the leaderboard. According to the website, Mertens was a full minute behind Anderson. However, BOXROX watched the video of Anderson performing the 24.1 workout and he finished at minute 14’18’’ – on the leaderboard it says 4’18’’ so this must be an error when including the numbers on the platform.

Mirjam von Rohr is a prominent athlete in the CrossFit and HYROX communities, known for her impressive achievements. The athlete from Switzerland showcased her exceptional skills by winning the 2022 HYROX European Championships in the Elite Women’s division, demonstrating her prowess in a range of physically demanding activities – HYROX competitions always include the same exercises, including ski ergs, sled pushes and pulls, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmer’s carries, sandbag lunges, wall balls, and runs.

A year later, she ended up 54th. Who knows how this year is going to be for her during the Open, but she started out with a bang, that’s for sure.
