Two weeks out from the HYROX world championships in Chicago, Dylan Scott laid down a marker with a seriously quick time in New York.
Finishing in 53:27 he became just the third man to go sub 54 minutes and was almost 4 minutes clear of Clement Puaud Canard in second place.
Known for travelling with Ergs in the trunk of his car (and a certain viral celebration earlier in the season), Scott set a blistering pace with a 3:38 opening kilometer. And his next six kilometers were all even faster. His total run time was 29:00 which unsurprisingly placed him first overall in the running.
In the workout stations he placed first in the 1000 Meter Row (3:46) and the 100 Meter Sandbag Lunges (2:42), and second in the 80 Meter Burpee Broad Jump (1:53).
