Master athletes and teens are getting ready to compete for the crown of the CrossFit Games this weekend and you can also get ready… to watch the 2024 CrossFit Games for the age group of athletes between 14-17 years old, and 35 years or older.
As BOXROX reported earlier, CrossFit announced a new partnership with 3 different organisations that will help the competition season for teens, masters and adaptive athletes.
In a press release, CrossFit unveiled three new partnerships across various divisions: WheelWOD Games (for adaptive), Pit Teen Throwdowns (for 14-17 teens), and Legends Championship (for masters 35+ athletes).
This weekend, you will get a chance to watch master athletes from August 29th and the teens from August 30th. The adaptive CrossFit Games takes place on September 19-22.
As part of CrossFit’s new partnership, both events will take place in different locations and dates:
Pit Teen Throwdowns:
- August 30 – September 1
- Kalamazoo and Three Rivers, Michigan
Legends Championship
- August 29 – September 1
- Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex, Birmingham, Alabama
