Could your city be the host of the world’s fastest-growing fitness event?
HYROX has opened the door to cities worldwide, inviting them to compete, not on the course, but for the chance to host its high profile World Championships that will be the culmination of the 2025/26 and 2026/27 seasons. This is a first for HYROX and reflects a growing confidence in the organisation as they recognise the extent of the economic boost their events bring to cities.
Last year’s Championships were held in Nice, France and Chicago is set to welcome the 2024/25 edition this June. Across the whole 2024/25 season HYROX is expecting around 650,000 participants to hit the start line with 1 million the stated goal for next year.
A single event can bring in several thousand athletes and tens of thousands of spectators for a multi-day experience that is proven to fill the hotels and restaurants of city after city on the HYROX circuit.
This track record gives the HYROX management the leverage to go bigger and bolder for its flagship event of the year.

Destinations interested in vying for the hosting rights must request an invitation to quote from hyrox@fittestpr.com in order to receive further details. The deadline for proposals is May 1st 2025 and bids will be evaluated on factors such as venue quality, branding potential and financial support.
The race is on, but this time it’s the cities competing for glory. We’ll be watching closely to see who wins.
