Luka Đukić has won the Dubai Fitness Championship Online Qualifier this year. This was his first time back competing after the death of his brother Lazar.
The Dubai Fitness Championship Online Qualifier is the gateway for athletes who want to compete at UAE’s city, famous for its huge building, the Burj Khalifa. The qualifier was comprised of four workouts that athletes could complete over the course of three weeks and submit their videos and scores to the platform.
The top 28 athletes, men and women, are then invited to compete at the 2024 Dubai Fitness Championship. According to the organisation, there will be “2 special invites from each category,” besides the 28 athletes.
But Luka Đukić won’t need any special invites as he stood on top of all the other athletes competing. The Serbian athlete finished the workouts in 11th, 1st, 7th, and 28th respectively. Here are the top 3 athletes:
- Luka Đukić (Serbia) – 47 points
- Giorgos Karavis (Greece) – 57 points
- Moritz Fiebig (Germany) – 60 points

The women’s leaderboard was much closer, with only 1 points separating the top 3 athletes:
- Jamie Simmonds (New Zealand) – 33 points
- Andrea Solberg (Norway) – 34 points
- Elena Carratalá (Spain) – 35 points

The Dubai Fitness Championship will take place at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium in Dubai, UAE, on December 6-8. The winner will cash out U$50,000.
