CrossFit has revealed what the scoring table for the 2023 CrossFit Games will look like at every moment during the week of competition.
We previously explained that individuals and teams competing at the CrossFit Games this year will go through two cutting phases (the field will be reduced on Saturday morning and Sunday morning). And now we know exactly how the scoring system is going to work before and after said cuts.

As in previous years, each event winner will earn 100 points with the subsequent point system depending on how many athletes are competing. At the end of the Games weekend, the athlete and team with the most points is the winner and crowned the Fittest on Earth.

*the table for 5 and 10 athletes is reserved for the age group and adaptive divisions as the elite individuals and teams field will be cut to 20 participants on Sunday.
Ties will be broken by awarding the best position to the athlete who has the highest result in any single test. If athletes remain tied after this first tiebreaker, the process continues to their next highest single result, and so forth.
According to CrossFit, for some tests, “more than one athlete can share a test rank, and each will earn the original point value. The athlete with the top performance across multiple events in a competition will be placed higher on the leaderboard.”

The 2023 CrossFit Games is taking shape after all athletes and teams know who is going to compete for the title of Fittest on Earth.

- Where: Madison, Wisconsin (USA)
Athletes from all age groups (teens, masters) and adaptive athletes will be joining the teams and individual athletes who received an invitation to compete in Madison this summer.
