WFP Announces Star-Studded Broadcast Lineup

The World Fitness Project (WFP) is turning up the heat for its highly anticipated 2025 season with a powerhouse broadcast team set to cover Tour Stop 1 in Indianapolis this May. We are thrilled to see a mix of seasoned commentators, elite athletes, and media pros involved in the broadcast. This team promises to bring every lift, sprint, and strategy to life – and in nine different languages.

The All-Star Voices Calling the Action

The broadcast booth for the three-day event (May 9–11) is loaded with some of the most respected names in functional fitness:

• Jeremy Austin on Play-by-Play – A veteran voice from Australia, Austin has called every major fitness comp Down Under and was most recently the voice of the 2024 Adaptive CrossFit Games.

Tommy Marquez on Color Commentary – Co-host of the Talking Elite Fitness podcast and former CrossFit Games studio analyst, Marquez brings experience, insight, and energy.

Gabriela Migała as an Analyst – Making her broadcast debut, the 2024 CrossFit Games runner-up adds elite-level insight from an athlete’s perspective.

• Lauren Smith as an On-Floor Reporter – Pro/Challenger – Known for her coverage across HYROX and CrossFit, Smith will be capturing stories from the trenches.

Amy Bream as an On-Floor Reporter – Competitor/Community – A three-time Games athlete and adaptive sport icon, Bream brings her unique lens as both a competitor and motivational voice.

Deep Dives & Desk Show Drama

Between events and each morning before the competition heats up, viewers can tune into the desk show for breakdowns, predictions, and post-event recaps. Here’s who’s driving that conversation:

• Derek Forest as Host – A seasoned sports anchor and CrossFit broadcast vet, Forest will anchor the desk and keep the conversation sharp.

Annie Thorisdottir as Co-host – Two-time Fittest Woman on Earth, Annie brings legendary experience and expert insight.

Katrin Davidsdottir as Co-host – Another two-time champ, Katrin joins her longtime friend Annie to offer analysis from a champion’s mindset.

• Seth Page as an Analyst – Head coach of Jump Ship Training and programming brainiac, Page delivers coaching-level commentary and strategic context.

Global Access – 9 Languages, One Epic Event

WFP clearly has big plans and part of that is to go global from the off. Tour Stop 1 will be broadcast exclusively on the World Fitness Project website in real-time, complete with live audio or subtitles in nine languages: English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, and Korean.
