The GoFundMe page dedicated to Lazar Đukić after his tragic passing has closed up two months after starting the campaign. In total, the page shows that U$771,881 has been gathered and passed to his family.
A total of 8887 different donations were made through the link created by Gijs Spaans of FitAid, one of Lazar’s sponsors. Since his tragic passing and up until October 8th, the link was still live and accepting donations from people and entities around the globe. The biggest donators were GoRuck, which gave 100% proceeds from a replica of Lazar’s CrossFit Games shirt to the family – a whopping U$250,062.

After closing the GoFundMe page, Gijs Spaans thank the community for coming together and helping alleviate the tragedy of losing a brother and a son to the Đukić family.
