Luka Đukić did not measure words addressing CrossFit and the posture it took following the end of the third-party investigation into his brother’s death, asking people to reconsider giving money to “a company that does not value human life.”
CrossFit revealed that the third-party investigation into Lazar Đukić’s death has ended, but a full report on the findings is not going to be made public due to “privacy and legal considerations.” This has sparked outrage throughout the community.
One person who was not surprised at all with the outcome was Luka Đukić, Lazar’s brother who was competing at the same event when the athlete drowned and tragically passed away.

Luka says he heard from a source that the third-party investigation wouldn’t be revealing the results shortly after it was announced by CrossFit back in August. The athlete says this was a manoeuvre from CrossFit to simply “buy some time.”

“No investigation can reveal anything other than the fact that there was no reacting when it was needed.
Shortly after CrossFit Inc. announced their “third-party investigation,” I was informed by a source that they would not be sharing the results. However, I wanted you to hear this directly from them.
This was merely a “let’s buy some time” move until the community forgets and it’s time to cash in on them again.
The next time you consider signing up for the Open, paying your affiliate fee, or letting a few CrossFit Inc-oriented media pawns influence you, think carefully about giving money, power and time to a company that does not value human life.”
