The victors of every event will receive $3,000. The sponsor Velites come out and present the check to the male and female winners of each event.
There are ten scored events in total, and $60,000 will be divided amongst the winners. All of these events will be scored by time, weight or reps, determining the winner each time.
This does not include the overall cash prizes from the final leaderboard placement.
It will be exciting to watch the prizes being given, and is always a very important moment for the competing participants. This prize money will be liable to getting a form of tax as it’s a sporting competition.
Athletes can win multiple events leading to even more than $3,000. The monetary wins from this are certainly very beneficial in supporting their careers in CrossFit.
