London's Olympia hosted the largest Hyrox event ever staged in the UK this weekend, with more than 9,000 athletes competing across two days.
The Elite Men's Race
The pace was relentless from the opening kilometre. Three athletes broke away during the second run and never looked back, trading the lead through the sled push and burpee broad jumps before a decisive gap opened at the rowing station.
The Elite Women's Race
A course record fell here too, with the winning time coming in under the previous best by almost ninety seconds. The wall balls proved decisive, as they so often do.
What It Means For The Season
With Glasgow and Manchester still to come, the qualification picture has shifted considerably. Several athletes who arrived outside the top twenty leave London with a realistic shot at a World Championship slot.
